COVID rates across Colchester are soaring, with one part of the town now in the worst affect category on the Government's hotspots map.
Infection rates across the borough continue to rise, with eight neighbourhoods now recording more than 400 cases per 100,000 people.
The hardest his area, Abbey Field, had an infection rate of 813.3 cases per 100,000 people in the week to July 14.
This puts it in the highest category on the Government's Covid hotspots map.
Here are the latest infection rates for each part of the borough:

- Prettygate & Westlands - 560.6 cases per 100,000 people
- Mile End & Braiswick - 557.6 cases per 100,000 people
- Stanway - 514.4 cases per 100,000 people
- Central Colchester - 508.2 cases per 100,000 people
- Shrub End - 451.3 cases per 100,000 people
- Highwoods - 432.9 cases per 100,000 people
- Old Heath & Rowhedge - 424.9 cases per 100,000 people
- New Town & Hythe - 397.3 cases per 100,000 people
- Monkwick - 358 cases per 100,000 people
- Marks Tey & Wakes Colne - 357.6 cases per 100,000 people
- Greenstead - 353.2 cases per 100,000 people
- Lexden - 352.9 cases per 100,000 people
- Wivenhoe & University - 316.4 cases per 100,000 people
- Layer-de-la-Haye, Abberton & Mersea East - 309.9 cases per 100,000 people
- Parson's Heath - 308.4 cases per 100,000 people
- Horkesley Heath, Langham & Dedham - 307.7 cases per 100,000 people
- Tiptree - 302.8 cases per 100,000 people
- West Mersea - 274.5 cases per 100,000 people
- West Bergholt & Wormingford - 122.9 cases per 100,000 people
During the week to July 14 there were 791 cases of Covid confirmed in Colchester.

This has increased by more than a third, or 35.4 per cent, compared with a week earlier.
The average infection rate was 406.3 cases per 100,000 people.
During this week Tendring recorded 524 cases of coronavirus, up almost 100 per cent on a week earlier.
The average infection rate in Tendring was 357.5 cases per 100,000 people.
On Monday the last remaining Covid restrictions were relaxed, despite rising cases across the country.
