A COVID vaccination bus will visit the area in Colchester where take-up is the lowest in the borough.
Ward councillor Tim Young (Lab) has arranged for the vaccine bus to visit Greenstead on two dates next month.
Vaccine statistics for the ward show it has the lowest take-up across the Colchester, and even across the whole of Essex.
Just 51.7 per cent of people have had a first dose up to July 19, with 32.6 per cent of residents have had both doses.

Mr Young said: "After discussions with some really helpful members of staff within the local NHS I am delighted to report that the Vaccination Bus is coming to Greenstead."
"It will be situated in the car park next to the Local Housing Office in Hawthorn Avenue."
The bus will arrive in Greenstead on Sunday, August 8, between 10am and 4pm and on Tuesday, August 17, between 12noon and 7pm.
The Pfizer jab will be available and no appointments are necessary.
Mr Young added: "If you’re over 18 just drop in for either your first or second vaccination.”
