FIVE closures are set to commence for six nights as roundabout resurfacing works take place.
The length of Halstead Road, Eight Ash Green, will temporarily close from the junction with the roundabout at Eight Ash Green to its junctions with the roundabout at Stanway.
The whole circuit of Halstead Road Roundabout, Stanway, will close.
Essex Yeomanry Way, Stanway will also face closures from its junction with Halstead Road Roundabout, Stanway, to its junction with Tollgate Roundabout Stanway, and its junction with Western Approach Roundabout to its junction with Halstead Road Roundabout, Stanway.
Halstead Road, Eight Ash Green, will also be temporarily closed from its junction with Old Halstead Road for a distance of about 35m.
The closures are set to commence on August 2.
- New connection works are set to be undertaken by Anglican Water on Artillery Street, Colchester.
This will cause a three-day closure from August 16 from a point north of the junction with King Stephen Road for about 35m in a northerly direction.
- Drivers should be aware of a closure on Colchester Road, Lawford, on August 22.
The road will be temporarily closed for a day from its junction with Mill Hill for about 70m in a south westerly direction.
This is while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
- N Harts Lane, Ardleigh, is set to temporarily close for a day in August.
It will be closed on August 22 from its junction with Old Ipswich Road for a distance around 95m east.
UK Power Networks will be doing pole replacement works.
- N A two-day closure is set to take place on Langham High Street.
High Street will be closed about 65m north west of its junction with Greyhound Hill for around 135m in a north westerly direction. This temporary closure will commence on August 16 as Openreach carry out duct laying works.
- N Talcott Road/Firlie Walk, Colchester, is closing from its junction with Queen Elizabeth Way to the other junction with Queen Elizabeth Way.
The temporary closure will last 19 days from August 16 as Cadent undertake pipe laying works.
- N Openreach is carrying out fibre optic cabling works on August 19 in Thorpe-le-Soken.
This will cause Whitehall Lane to temporarily close for a day from a point north of its junction with Hill House Lane for about 120m in a north easterly direction.
- N Look out for a road closure in Colchester to commence on August 4.
The temporary closure will last three days on Bergholt Road from its junction with Fernlea to the junction with North Station Roundabout.
This is while carriageway investigation and repair works are undertaken.
- N Another road closure is set to take place in Colchester as carriageway patching works are undertaken.
These works will commence on August 3 and cause Dugard Avenue to close from its junction with Straight Road to its junction with Oaklands Avenue.
It will last three days.
- N Drivers should also be aware of a road closure in Frinton.
Fifth Avenue will be closed for three days from its junction with Ferndown Road to its junction with Upper Second Avenue on August 3.
This is as footway repair works are undertaken.
- Openreach will be carrying out pole testing works in Rowhedge.
This will cause a temporary closure of Fingringhoe Road from a point south east of its junction with Rectory Road for about 245m. The closure will take place for a day on August 6.
- Lower Road in Birch will be closed for 3 days.
This closure will commence on August 3 with the road closing from its junction with Maldon Road to its junction with School Road while carriageway patching works are undertaken.
- Plan ahead for another road closure in Colchester.
Morant Road will be closed from its junction with Wimpole Road to its junction with Kimberley Road on August 2 for 3 days.
- The one way restriction on Salisbury Avenue will be suspended for 10 nights from August 10 from its junction with Maldon Road to its junction with Butt Road.
This is to allow access while while machine surfacing works are carried out on Butt Road.
