POLICE officers were called to an incident in Harwich last night.
In pictures, sent to the Standard, police officers can be seen escorting a man into a car.
An eyewitness, who asked not to be named, said the officers were armed.
The nature of the incident remains unknown, but it is believed to have taken place at about 9pm in Albermarle Street.
Four police officers attended the incident and can be seen in one of the photographs outside of a property in the street.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "This was at a private residential address so we are unable to provide any information."
Essex Police has been contacted for further details.
