COLCHESTER United new-boy Alan Judge was among the goalscorers as the U's drew 3-3 with Ipswich Town.
The East Anglian rivals met in a pre-season friendly at the JobServe Community Stadium on Tuesday night.
Joe Pigott gave the visitors an early lead before former Blues defender Tommy Smith equalised.
Ex-U's man Macauley Bonne restored Ipswich's lead but Frank Nouble levelled just before the break.
Summer signing Judge gave Colchester the lead, before Wes Burns curled in a late free-kick for Paul Cook's men.
The U's next friendly is away to Wealdstone on Saturday.
