A SHOPPING centre will host live DJs and special events at its improved drinks terrace this summer.
Launching on Friday, the Lion Walk Summer Drinks Terrace boasts a fully-licensed bar, summer drinks menu, deck chairs and bean bags within its secret garden setting.
To mark the venue reopening this year, Friday will see DJ Edstar perform for visitors, whilst the following night Paul Hutchinson and Mistershed will take to the decks.
On Sunday a special event is being held to mark 100 years of the Royal British Legion.
Celeb Sam Fox will be the special guest, with all proceeds raised going towards the Poppy Appeal.

“Friday and Saturdays launch will see live outdoor performances from Colchester’s very own house DJ’s Edstar and Paul Hutchinson – these award winning artists have incredible talent and have performed globally throughout their careers in places such as Miami, Ibiza, Italy, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Amsterdam, New Zealand, and numerous clubs and bars around the UK.
“We are also super excited to support the incredible work of our local charity partners – including the Royal British Legion with special guest Sam Fox, local singing artist Sarah Louise, and the Royal British Legion Bikers on Sunday."
