A NEW retail pod offering mobile phone, laptop and tablet repairs is set to be created outside a supermarket.
Sainsbury's has applied for planning permission to install a new modular pod outside its Stanway store, in Western Approach.
The pod would be home to Armafone, which repairs residents' electronic devices.
It will be installed near the entrance to the store in place of the existing trolley bay, which will be moved to the south.
A planning report states: "Retail pods such as these are a well-established concept to existing retail sites and have been introduced at many of Sainsbury's existing stores."
