YOUNGSTERS enjoyed being in the spotlight during a special graduation ceremony.
The event was held at Wivenhoe Park Day Nursery, marking the end of their time there before moving on to primary school.
About 50 children in small groups spread throughout the day were handed certificates and gifts in front of their families, in line with Covid restrictions.
The children are now looking forward to starting at their new schools after the summer holidays.

Early years practice manager Lucy Rose said: “It’s been such a long time since we’ve been able to hold a parent event like this due to Covid restrictions.
“It meant so much to us and our families to be able to come together in small groups to celebrate such a milestone event.
“Holding a mini graduation when we are part of the university really is special.”
