ALMOST 200 Covid jabs were distributed by the mobile vaccination bus during a visit to the part of Colchester with the lowest take up.
North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group brought its vaccination centre on wheels to Greenstead, near the ward's community centre, on Sunday.
A total of 197 residents received Pfizer jabs with needing to book an appointment.
Greenstead has the lowest take up of any area in Colchester and also across the whole of Essex.
Up to Sunday, 53 per cent of residents had received a first dose, whilst just 36 per cent had received both doses.

Ward councillor Tim Young helped arranged with the CCG for the bus to visit the area.
He said: "Thanks to Jane Clarke for the idea and all those involved including Nicola Davey and Greenstead Community Centre for bringing it to fruition.
"The bus will be back on Greenstead on Tuesday, August 17, from 12pm to 7pm. Spread the word."
Discussions are also underway for the bus to return in October.
