COVID infection rates across Colchester are continuing to drop, despite many other areas in England seeing a rise.
The borough's average infection rate in the week to August 5 was 249.6 cases per 100,000 people.
This is down from 271.7 cases per 100,000 people a week earlier.
Tendring's average infection rate was 186.3 cases per 100,000 people in the week to August 5, down from 219.7 cases per 100,000 people seven days earlier.
Across England, 49 per cent of authorities saw a week-on-week rise in rates, with 50 per cent seeing a fall.
The rest were unchanged from a week earlier.
A map compiled using Government data also shows the infection rate in each part of Colchester in the week to August 4.
During this week a total of 499 cases were recorded across the borough.

Abbey Field has the highest rate in the borough, of 419.4 cases per 100,000 people, with West Bergholt and Wormingford now in second with a rate of 399.3 cases per 100,000 people.
