COLCHESTER'S former town centre Post Office has been repurposed as a private coronavirus testing site.
The new test site, which offers tests via firm 15 Minute Covid Test, opened on Saturday inside the North Hill premises.
The firm says on its website it hopes to make tests "accessible and affordable" to the public.
It says its tests are "independently sourced" and do not have an impact on supplies of the NHS.
A range of antigen and PCR tests are available, costing between £19.99 and £99.
The firm also offers "Fit to Fly" certificates which can be used for those planning foreign travel.

The test site is open Monday to Sunday between 10am and 6pm, with out of hours appointments also available.
The Post Office closed in May 2019, with services ever since being offered from WH Smith in Lion Walk Shopping Centre.
