DRIVERS should prepare for the month-long closure of two roads in Colchester.
Boxted Road and Nayland Road are shutting from their junctions with the Nayland Road roundabout.
The closure will last 33 days and come into effect from September 6.
It is because roundabout widening works are being carried out by Essex County Council.
* Bateman Road, in Brightlingsea, is set to close for a fortnight because of scheduled repair works by Anglian Water.
It will shut near its junction with Church Road for 14 days from September 6.
It is while sewer repair works are carried out.
A diversion will be in place to take drivers via Red Barn Road, Seaview Road and Church Road.
* Anglian Water is also planning work in Great Horkesley.
Boxted Road is closing from its junction with The Causeway for three days from September 13.
This time the closure is because of sewer cleaning works.
* Mains replacement works are being carried out by Cadent on a busy Colchester road.
It means Circular Road West is closing from its junctions with Richmond Road and Circular Road South, for 19 days from September 13.
An alternative route is available via Butt Road, Southway, Mersea Road, Berechurch Road and Circular Road South.
* Look out for an upcoming road closure in Clacton.
The Green is shutting from its junction with Rush Green Road for 26 days from September 13.
It is while mains replacement works are carried out by Cadent.
* Keelars Lane, which runs from Elmstead into Wivenhoe, is shutting near its junction with Alresford Road.
The closure, for bridge removal and highway reinstatement works, is due to start on September 13 and last 54 days.
* Look out for an overnight road closure in Thorrington.
Station Road is shutting from 1.30am on September 19 until 7.30am the following morning, while level crossing inspection/repair works are carried out by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
* Prepare for more road closures in Colchester, starting with Artillery Street.
The road is shutting from its junction with Kimberley Road for three days from August 31. It is while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
* Other closures are set to affect Bourne Road, Wimpole Road, Military Road and Old Heath Road.
They will come into effect from Monday, August 31, and last 40 nights (from 7pm until 5am).
It is while traffic signal installation works are carried out by Essex County Council.

* Taylors Road, in Rowhedge, is closing for three days from September 14.
It is while stop tap replacement works are carried out by Anglian Water.
* Church Road, in Thorrington, is shutting on September 1 while underground network works are carried out by Openreach.
* Dowling Road, in Mount Bures, is shutting near its junction with Peartree Hill.
The closure is only due to last one day, on September 2, while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach engineers.
* East Street, in Colchester, is closing from 7pm on September 3 to 5am on September 6.
It is while waterproofing works are carried out.
