TV and singing superstar Stacey Solomon said she had “the best evening” after renting a popular swimming pool in Colchester.

The heavily pregnant Loose Women panelist splashed out to hire Leisure World last night for an evening of fun with her family and friends.

Taking a break from decorating her daughter to be's nursery, Stacey, 31, took a dip alongside her two-year-old son Rex.

When born, her expected daughter will live alongside her and Joe Swash, Rex, Joe's son Harry, 14, and Stacey's children - Leighton, nine, and Zachary, 13.

Taking to her Instagram story, Stacey shared a string of images and videos appearing in good spirits.

She wrote: “Aw we had the best evening.

“The boys love swimming so so much, so me and my family and a few of the boys’ friends all chipped in and hired the pool for the night to try and do something different for the holidays.”

At a cost of £250, Stacey and friends had the popular pool all to themselves to enjoy some uninterrupted fun, splitting the cost at £25 each.

“It was so lovely and quiet and so nice to do something like this knowing we won’t get away or anything for a long time,” she added.

“I also thought it was super reasonable £250 for the night so between us all it worked out £25 a family.”

Fans were quick to ask where the pool was, having admired it during her series of uploads.

“So many of you [sic] asking what pool this is,” Stacey responded. “It’s called @myleisureworld in Colchester, it’s the boys’ favourite because it has loads of big slides and lots of stuff for the little ones too.

“Feel like we haven’t done much this summer and the weather hasn’t been great so tonight watching them have fun was everything. Love you boys.”
