LIDL has applied to install signage at its long-awaited new store in Colchester.
The German supermarket giant has submitted a planning application to install a freestanding sign at the entrance to the new store, which is being built off St Andrew's Avenue at the old Homebase site.
The sign will feature the opening hours of the store along with logos for Lidl, Subway and Costa, which are also opening on site.
