A POPULAR clothing retailer has closed its Colchester site for good.
M&Co, which was based inside the Co-op store at the Peartree Retail Park in Stanway, closed to customers on Saturday.
The brand occupied a large amount of retail floorspace inside the Co-op supermarket.
M&Co confirmed its Stanway store's closure on Facebook on Saturday.
A post said: "Last trading day at M&Co Stanway.
"We would like to thank all our loyal customers over the last four-and-a-half-years.
"We will miss you all."

Last year, M&Co announced 47 of its stores across the country would shut, leading to the loss of 380 jobs.
Other Essex stores like the two in Frinton and one in Brightlingsea, escaped closure.
However, the Brightlingsea store will also be closing later this month.
The decision to close the Co-op M&Co stores is understood to have been made by the supermarket firm.
The retailer said it appointed administrators Deloitte in April 2020 as Covid-19 hit its business.
