A teenager has become the third person to be arrested in connection with a fight which left a man in a life-threatening condition.
Police say the 19-year-old female, who is from Colchester, was arrested on suspicion of suspicion of affray this morning (Sunday, August 29).
She remains in custody for questioning.
Two other men, aged 19 and 20, were arrested by police yesterday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
They have both been released on conditional bail until September 22.

Earlier this morning, an Essex Police spokesman said the man injured in the fight on Saturday morning remains in a life-threatening condition.
He suffered a head injury and was knocked unconscious during the fracas in St Botolph’s Street.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 and quote incident 232 of August 28.
