One woman was in for the surprise of a lifetime this morning when ITV camera crews and a brass band descended on her house.
Basildon resident Natalie was shocked as she answered the phone to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Natalie had been selected for ITV This Morning’s Dosh on Your Doorstep competition and was in with a chance to win £2,000.
Around the corner from her home Alison Hammond, armed with a microphone, and Josie Gibson, dressed as a pantomime tree, were heading towards her door with a brass band in tow.
The band could be heard tooting out the tune to Our House by Madness as the presenting pair pulled off the surprise visit.
Natalie, who had been watching the show when she got the call from Phillip, gleefully revealed she had realised she was in with a chance to win the cash when she heard the band from her living room and realised the images she was watching were from her street.
Answering the door to Alison, Natalie said: “I’m doing alright! This is great, I heard the band down the road.”
This Morning tweeted: “It’s double trouble and double money! Alison Hammond 's favourite game, Dosh on Your Doorstep, is back! She's joined by Josie to surprise one lucky person! But can they answer the questions correctly?”
