HOME Secretary Priti Patel met Border Force teams during a visit to Dover, a day after tweeting “there is so much more to do” on issues such as “tackling illegal migration”.
The Witham MP was seen out in the English Channel with Border Force after it was confirmed she would remain in Cabinet position.
It is understood she took part in a private meeting with law enforcement teams who are on the front line tackling illegal migration.
Her trip came as more migrants continued to cross the Channel by boat from France.
On Wednesday, Ms Patel said it is “a huge privilege” to remain at the Home Office amid Boris Johnson’s Cabinet reshuffle.
“A huge privilege to continue serving as Home Secretary under our Prime Minister Boris Johnson,” she tweeted.
"There is still so much more to do to deliver for the British people.”
