A man has appeared in court charged with the production of cannabis.
It follows the discovery of more than 50 plants at a property in Greenstead Road, Colchester, on Tuesday September 21.
Gentian Buqa, 22, of no fixed address, appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court yesterday, Wednesday September 22, and denied one count of producing a controlled Class B drug.
He was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on October 20.
