Traffic is at a standstill on the A120 this morning.
There is stationary traffic on the route heading towards Colchester at the A133 Hare Green Interchange.
The AA Traffic website says: "Sensors suggest all lanes are being held around 10:50, the reason is unclear at this time."
Another traffic update says there are delays close to the BP petrol station causing congestion.

It said: "Queueing traffic and traffic heavier than normal on A120 Westbound at the BP Petrol Station.
"Congestion to the A133. Sensors show traffic is barely moving towards the petrol station."
Hedingham Buses has warned some journeys are being affected.

There are delays on the A120 from Harwich and traffic is building back down the A133 towards the Frating roundabout.
