COLCHESTER United have signed forward Shawn McCoulsky.
The 24-year-old, who has spells at the likes of Forest Green Rovers, Southend United, Newport County and Torquay United, has linked up with the U's on a short-term deal as a free agent.
McCoulsky has been training with Colchester for the past week and has been named among the substitutes for their game against Scunthorpe United, this afternoon.
He told the U's website: "I just want to play as much as I can and help the team as much as I can."
"I'm a striker who likes to score goals, and I hope that I can score the goals that will help us.
"The Manager has told me how he wants us to play, and I think that I fit into the style of play perfectly."
