POLICE are investigating an assault on a teenage girl in Witham.
The victim was attacked by a man and woman in Taverners Walk, off Church Street, at about 8am on February 7.
Details have just been released.
The man is described as being white, aged between 20 and 30, about six feet tall, chubby, with slightly curly hair down to the bottom of his ears or jawline.
He had a deep voice and no facial hair.
He was wearing a plain black hooded jumper, black jogging bottoms, and white trainers which were a little muddy.
The woman is described as white and aged between 20 and 30.
She was slim, about 5ft 5ins tall, with brown hair tied back in a long pony tail.

She was wearing a light blue vest top, brown cardigan, and "colourful" jogging bottoms with a pair of light blue high-top Converse trainers.
A police spokesman said: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam, or doorbell footage to contact us."
