Persistent thief is jailed after targeting Colchester Tesco
A PERSISTENT thief has been jailed after stealing goods worth hundreds of pounds from a supermarket.
Nicola Whitbread, of no fixed abode, was found guilty of stealing £266.66 worth of products from a Tesco store in Colchester on September 6, 2021.
The 47-year-old has been sent to prison for six weeks after committing the offence while serving a suspended sentence for another crime.
Colchester Magistrates Court also ordered Whitbread to pay a £128 surcharge.
