A MAN and a woman arrested in connection with the death of a child at an address in Stanway have been rebailed until April.
Essex Police officers were called to the Tollgate Road area in Stanway on the morning of Sunday, November 7.
When officers arrived they found a two-year-old child was unresponsive.
The pair, aged 40 and 36 respectively, have now been rebailed until April 4.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “We received a call from colleagues in the ambulance service at about 8.13am on Sunday, November 7.
“We arrived and found a child unresponsive. Sadly, the two-year old died.

“We are working to establish the facts and a forensic post-mortem examination will be carried out.”
A 40-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of child neglect and manslaughter.
