COLCHESTER'S Lois Marsh struck a double gold at the IBJJF European Jiu Jitsu Championships in Rome, Italy.
Competing in the Juvenile featherweight division and the open class (all weight division) division, she secured gold in both divisions fighting juvenile girls from all over the world.
The event is the largest jiu jitsu tournament in Europe, second largest in the world with hundreds of fighters competing all week.
Lois, who is a Year 11 student at the Gilberd School, trains at the Combat Institute Colchester under head coach Taylor Pearman.
She also trains under head coach Alain Pozo at the Reef academy, in Chelmsford.
