POLICE officers want to speak to a man in connection with the theft of a bike from outside a popular leisure venue.
Essex Police says its investigation comes after a bike was stolen from outside Leisure World, off Cowdray Avenue, Colchester.
The incident occurred at about 4.30pm on February 6.
A police spokesman said: “We need anyone who recognises the man, saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam, or doorbell footage to contact us.”
They also issued advice for the prevention of bike theft, adding: “Double-lock it, secure it and lock the lot. It can take thieves as little as a few seconds to cut through some locks that haven’t achieved the Police Preferred Specification.
