A THIEF who stole more than £150 worth of meat in Colchester has been made to pay the price.
Steven Baker, of Harwich Road, Colchester, stole meat products to the value of £152.11 from the town’s Marks and Spencer shop on January 26.
The 39-year-old admitted one count of theft from a shop when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
Baker has been ordered to pay £299 in a fine, surcharge and court costs.
