- Abberton Road, Layer-de-la-Haye from Bounstead Road for one kilometre for four days from April 19, while broadband installation works are undertaken by County Broadband Ltd.
- Clears Road, Layer Marney from Smyths Green to Newbridge Road on April 19 for three days, while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Gladwin Road, Colchester from Layer Road to Wavell Avenue for three days from April 25, while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Manor Road, Colchester for 35m beginning at Crowhurst Road, for the day on April 24, to enable new connection works to be undertaken by Cadent.
- Spring Lane North, Colchester close to Bakers Lane for 80m for one day on April 21, while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
- Part of Water Lane, Little Horkesley for three days from April 19, while fire hydrant replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
- A 70m stretch of Artillery Street, and a 20m length of New Park Street from its junction with Artillery street for five days from April 4, while mains replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
- Coach Road, Great Horkesley from Nayland Road to London Road for 11 days from April 4, while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Dawes Lane, West Mersea from East Mersea Road to East Road for three days from April 6, while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Elm Grove, Clacton from North Road to St Johns Road for five days from April 7, while carriageway investigation and repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Harvey Road, Wivenhoe from The Avenue to Ernest Road for five days from April 11, while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Osborne Street, Colchester for a 15m stretch from its junction with St Botolphs Street and St Botolphs Street from Osborne Street to St Botolphs Circus, for five nights from April 11, while traffic signal renewal works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
- Plough Road, Great Bentley for 190m from Keeble Court for two days from April 4, while overhead cable works are undertaken by Openreach.
- Turkey Cock Lane, Stanway for half a kilometre from its junction with London Road for one day on March 29, while crane placement in carriageway works are undertaken by Cadman Cranes Ltd.
- A 75m stretch of Winters Hill, Layer Marney near Roundbush Road for three days from April 4, while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.

A NEW 20mph speed limit is set to be introduced on a large number of roads around Colchester.
As part of Essex County Council's Active Travel Essex project, the new speed limits are intended to improve the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, at the same time encouraging more people to leave their cars at home.
