Close call - the incident saw a cyclist narrowly missed by Lungu
A CARELESS driver who narrowly missed a cyclist has been handed points on his licence.
Danial Lungu was found guilty of driving a vehicle without reasonable consideration to other road users in Mile End Road, Colchester after the offence shortly before 5.30pm on August 27, 2021.
The 41-year-old, of Stonecrop, Colchester was also found guilty of driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence after not holding a UK driving licence.
He was handed five points on his licence by Colchester Magistrates’ Court and ordered to pay £584 in a surcharge, costs and fine.
