A PAIR of construction experts have been praised for delivering “amazing” online sessions to primary school pupils.
Lily Green and Rebecca Howard, of Colchester firm Ingleton Wood, joined an initiative to help inspire the next generation of STEM workforce.
They joined forces with charted engineer Alexandra Knight, the founder of STEMazing, and delivered six weekly online sessions to pupils aged seven to nine in primary schools to encourage both girls and boys to see STEM as fun and exciting.
Sessions included live stepby-step demonstrations to help the children to create their own STEM masterpieces.
Lily, a qualified architect, added: “Leading the sessions has provided me with a sense of achievement, as I know we are making a positive contribution by being visible role models to these children.”
