FRESH plans to refurbish two children’s play areas have been unveiled.
Stanway Parish Council revealed blueprints for the sites in Silver Witch Green and Lucy Lane South, both in Stanway, with work set to begin on the former from May 3.
It is anticipated works will be complete at Silver Witch Green by mid-May, and by early June in Lucy Lane South.

The projects, which will be part funded by grants from Enovert Community Trust, the North East Essex Hyperlocal Fund and the Community Initiatives Fund, will see the play equipment completely updated.
New additions will include a climbing tower, aerial runway, swings, roundabouts and seesaws, as well as new seating and surfacing.
Parish Council clerk Donna Tristam said: “This new equipment will be enjoyed by the children and families in the local area, providing a fun play space for years to come.”
