TV star Denise Van Outen has been sharing photos of a trip to Mersea to celebrate her daughter’s birthday.
The TV presenter took to Instagram to share a series of photos of her visit over the May bank holiday weekend.
The star shared that she was staying at Park Holidays' West Mersea Holiday Park with her daughter Betsy, family and friends.
Pictures showed Denise enjoying a day out at a beach hut, decorations for Betsy’s birthday and the group singing Sweet Caroline.
The star was joined by friend Lydia Bright and her family.
Denise was also full of praise for Buttercups The Cake Shop in West Mersea which created a Friends themed cake for her daughter.
In the post on Instagram she wrote: “BETSY is 12. Bank holiday birthday fun with our West Mersea family @parkholidaysuk @alfieoneill_ @markyferry @lydiabright @xdebbietowiex @dave_thetiler @xgeorgiabrightx Loretta.”
In a second post, sharing pictures of Betsy's birthday cake, she said: "Fabulous birthday cake for Betsy by @buttercups_bakes balloons @all_starsentertainment personalised banner, straws, scatter decorations and cake topper @otherletters personalised gift bag @haleyscards the portrait is by @whoeverhoweverportraits I love it! Thank you @markyferry ❤️location @parkholidaysuk ESSEX ⭐️"
It is not the first time Denise has enjoyed a trip to Mersea.
Earlier this year she enjoyed a trip with Betsy, family and friends to mark Mother’s Day.
In June last year she visited to celebrate her 47th birthday.
And in August she enjoyed a staycation at Park Holidays' West Mersea Holiday Park.
Pictures showed Denise enjoying a day out at a beach hut with a glass of drink.
She also met up with fellow Essex star Lydia Bright to enjoy a seafood platter from The Company Shed.
Denise has written her memoir, A Bit Of Me: From Basildon To Broadway And Back, which she completed during lockdown as she couldn’t bear sitting around doing nothing.
The book was delayed from last year while the 47-year-old actress, singer, dancer and presenter wrote an extra chapter on the reasons for her recent split from Eddie Boxshall after seven-and-a-half years.
