A THUG who damaged a car and an iPhone during a frenzy of crimes has been ordered to pay more than £2,000 in compensation.
Chris Wilkin vandalised a Vauxhall Insignia and assaulted its owner on September 11 of last year in Colchester.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard how on the same day, the 30-year-old also damaged a woman’s iPhone and assaulted another man.
Wilkin, of Conifer Close, Colchester, admitted the four crimes and was ordered to undertake 60 hours of unpaid work within a year.
He must also pay £2,050 in compensation and undertake 20 days of a rehabilitation requirement.
