UNIVERSITY students are preparing to hold a unique and exciting bingo event with a difference with a view of helping preserve the wonders of history.
Bingo Bebop will take place at the Hole in the Wall, in Colchester, from 6.30pm on May 20, on behalf of the Colchester Museums Development Foundation.
Any donations generated as a result of the night of dancing, music, bingo and prizes, will be used to help renovate Colchester’s Natural History Museum.
The event is spearheaded by Natalie Howard and Amber Netzel, who are studying an events management degree at the Edge Hotel School within the University of Essex.
Natalie, from Colchester, said: “It will be an amazing jam-packed night and will create lots of memories for friends and family.
“It is for a great cause because the renovations to the Natural History Museum will benefit the community in a number of different ways.
“So, it is not just a fun-filled evening, it's helping a community cause too.”
Tickets for the evening cost £22, which includes the entrance fee, a bingo book and raffle ticket, and food and drink upon arrival.
