Crime - Cowdray Avenue
A WOMAN who got behind the wheel despite being banned from driving has been punished.
Dolly Flockhart was caught driving a Peugeot 107 on Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, by police officers on September 9 last year, despite being disqualified from the roads.
The 29-year-old admitted the offence at Colchester Magistrates’ Court and must pay £320 in a fine, surcharge and costs.
Flockhart, of Lugar Close, Colchester, must also undertake 25 days of a rehabilitation requirement and has been further banned from driving for 11 months.
