A YOUTUBER who gained fame impersonating world famous singers is to perform at the Mercury Theatre next month in her first tour of the UK in a play.
Christina Bianco, whose YouTube videos have been watched nearly 26 million times, will be performing The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, which will feature a collection of well-known ballads by icons such as Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey and Cilla Black.
Directed by Bronagh Lagan and written by Jim Cartwright, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice follows the journey of the main character, Little Voice, as she becomes an overnight sensation performing the works of famous divas.

The play runs from Tuesday, June 21, until Friday, June 25.
Although normally accustomed to American audiences, Bianco said she expects a slightly different reception here in the UK, and will be interested to hear how playgoers react to the production.
“I think Americans kind of watch you, leaning back, giving off an ‘entertain me’ vibe.
“I feel a British audience leans forward a bit more – they come into you and your world.
“Both are great and I’m not trying to insult my home country but I do feel British audiences are a little more appreciative."
