A DRIVER faced a long walk home after their car was seized by police officers.
Colchester’s town centre policing team were conducting disruption patrols when they spotted a motorist driving without a licence or insurance.
A police spokesman said: “As it happened the driver had decided they didn’t need a driving licence or insurance to drive.
“It turned out to be a long walk home for the driver whose vehicle was seized.
“The driver was reported for the offences and can expect a court date through the post soon.”
