A DRINK-DRIVER has been fined after being found almost twice the legal drink drive limit.
Luke Quested, of Peppercorn Close, Colchester, was caught by officers in the High Street last month.
When breathalysed, he provided 63 mcgs of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
The 35-year-old admitted driving a motor vehicle when above the legal alcohol limit and was subsequently banned from driving for 18 months.
He was also ordered by Colchester Magistrates’ Court to pay £655 in a fine, surcharge, and court costs.
