A MAN who assaulted three police officers in a hospital has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
Cameron Burgess assaulted the officers in Colchester Hospital during the incident on July 3 last year.
The 32-year-old admitted his crimes at Colchester Magistrates’ Court and was committed to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for one year.
Burgess, of North Station Road, Colchester, was also ordered to pay £250 in total compensation to his victims.
