A DRIVER who hit a broken down car has been handed points on his licence.
Sukhjinder Singh was driving on Maldon Road, Colchester, when he hit the rear of a Kia Sportage which had broken down in the road on September 18 last year.
The 31-year-old admitted driving without due care and attention when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
Singh, of Barking Road, London, was ordered to pay £379 in a fine, surcharge and costs, and was handed six points on his driving licence.
