Police no longer searching for duo in connection with town centre assault
POLICE officers say they are no longer looking to identify two men in connection with an assault in Colchester.
The force wanted to speak with the duo in connection with an investigation into an incident in Vineyard Street at about 1am on Saturday, March 12.
A spokesman said: “Last month we issued an appeal to identify two pictured on CCTV and we believe we have now identified them.
“Our inquiries are ongoing. Thank you for your support in sharing our appeal, it really does help.”
