Pleased - Will Quince
AN MP has thanked the Queen for awarding Colchester city status as part of her platinum jubilee celebrations.
Will Quince wrote to Her Majesty stating he is “absolutely delighted” with her decision which was made on May 20.

The MP wrote: “The announcement has brought joy to the residents of Colchester and we look forward to making the most of the great honour.
“On behalf of the people of Colchester, may I take this opportunity to send Her Majesty our city’s very best wishes for the platinum jubilee celebrations.”
