From cool ice cream sundaes to delicious cakes, everyone loves a good dessert.
It is often what completes a great meal, but can even be had on its own.
Colchester is full of dessert restaurants, and here are some you have to try (if you haven’t already of course!)
Heavenly Desserts
Located at the top of the High Street, it originally opened in 2018 and is a popular choice for desserts in the town.
On the menu, you will find things like Ferrero Rocher cookie dough, blueberry pancakes, and milkshakes.
The restaurant allows guests to eat in, or click and collect, and is plenty of people’s choice to get a delicious dessert.
Kaspa’s
At the other end of the High Street, is the huge favourite Kaspa’s.

Kaspa’s also received a five-star food hygiene rating in a recent review.
The parlour is hugely loved in the community and features a huge variety of sundaes, waffles and crepes, cakes and puddings, frappes, and more.
Tub and Cone
Located in Crouch Street in Lexden, Tub and Cone has received glowing reviews.
Plans were originally put out for the shop at the beginning of 2018, with the whole thing opening since.
The eatery serves everything you can typically expect, from ice creams to waffles and other specials.
Bubble Tealicious
