POLICE officers tackled speeding motorists during a crackdown on dangerous driving.
Essex Police’s roads team undertook speed checks in Peldon and Wakes Colne over the weekend as part of their efforts.

The force teamed up with its community speedwatch volunteers to catch out drivers evading the law, stating it was “enforcing” the rules.
It came as part of the Vision Zero scheme which helps communities campaign for safe roads and streets where people want to walk, cycle and spend time.
