A DRINK driver caught behind the wheel in a McDonald’s car park was found to be more than double the legal limit.
Jacob Potter, 27, was found to have driven a BMW in the fast food restaurant car park, in Williamsburg Avenue, Dovercourt, on June 2.
A test recorded 102mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Potter, of Kings Head Street, Harwich, admitted drink driving at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on June 3.
He was released on bail until July 5 while a pre-sentence report is prepared, with an interim driving ban in place.
