HIT TV show Robot Wars will be coming to Colchester's Charter Hall.
The event will be spread over three shows with two shows Saturday, September 10, a morning show from noon to 2pm and an evening show running from 4pm to 6pm.
There will be a third show on Sunday, September 11, from noon to 2pm.
Fans will be able to enjoy the show in its new, live format.
There will be an opportunity to see favourite robots from the original show, as well as some special guests.
Robots old and new will battle it out in front of a live audience, who will be able to hear the crashing of 110kg robots fighting.
Major Damage, the infamous house robot will also be in the brand new area, kept under check by the new, double bullet proof glass.
The show was a major hit when it first aired on BBC Two in 1998, before it was moved to Channel Five, broadcasting from 2003 to 2004.
In 2016, the show was brought back to the BBC in 2016 for a six episode series.
