ESSEX Police’s roads team patrol routes big and small across the county in a bid to tackle crime and keep residents moving.
As people take to various routes in their droves every day, a wide variety of issues come up which need dealing with.
Here’s a look at some of the incidents police officers dealt with this week on our roads.
POLICE officers have recovered two stolen Range Rovers after an investigation launched to locate them.
Essex Police’s stolen vehicle intelligence unit researched the vehicles reported taken over the weekend, with one stolen from Colchester.
Hardworking officers located the two Range Rovers in Chelmsford on Monday morning, finding false plates now placed upon them.
The vehicles were recovered ahead of forensic examinations due to take place, as well as further investigation into the thefts.

ESSEX Police's dog section took chase to catch two suspects...including across the A12.
Officers chased the suspects in a vehicle pursuit before deploying police dog Chesta in order to track the two suspects on Wednesday.
They followed the suspects around the area, crossing the A12, eventually spotting them scaling a seven foot fence.
Chesta guided the officers round to the other side, where they were able to make their arrest.

SPEED conscious volunteers and police officers issued five tickets to motorists during a morning of action.
Essex Police’s roads policing team joined forces with community speedwatch volunteers in Colchester on Thursday morning.
The force stated it issued five tickets by 8.15am as work was undertaken during the school run to keep families safe.
A tweet from Essex Roads Policing reads: “Officers out supporting our community speedwatch volunteers and speed enforcing across Colchester.
“Five tickets issued for speed already.”
