A WORLD-RENOWNED singing duo are set to take Colchester by storm this weekend.
Michael Ball and Alfie Boe will take to the stage in Castle Park on Sunday.
The entertainment sensations, whose debut album Together became the UK’s best-selling album of 2016, have sold more than 1.5 million records.
They have also received two Classic Brit Awards, sold out headline area tours, and presented three television specials on ITV.
During their Colchester show Michael and Alfie will perform music from their successful albums Together Again and Back Together.
It has now also been confirmed The Overtones and Marisha Wallace will complete the rest of the showstopping concert’s impressive line-up.
The show will open its gates to visitors at 4pm and will remain open throughout the evening.
It is expected the show will come to an end at around 10.30pm.
The event day box will be located at the park’s entrance at Middle Mill and opens at 2pm before closing at 9pm.
Any leftover tickets will be available to buy from the box office and visitors are being told to have their tickets ready to be scanned at the gate.
Organiser have also said visitors will get bar tokens.
All the bars will be using a token system and tokens can be bought from token booths around the park.
Organisers also say no food and drink can be brought to the concert.
There is also a ban on glass containers, chairs, dogs and cameras with umbrellas allowed but must be taken down during the show.
Searches for banned items will also be in place with bag searches.
No bags bigger than A4 will be permitted either.
Organisers stress anyone 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and require a ticket, although babies in arms go free.
Pre-paid parking at the concert is available when buying a ticket with parking at Kings Meadow.
Tickets come in a range of prices.
A Platinum VIP Plus ticket costs £90 plus a £11.25 booking fee.
A platinum VIP ticket is £90 in total while a gold ticket is £78.75 in total and a silver ticket is £67.50 in total.
Standing general admission tickets are £52.50 plus £6.56 booking fee for early entry and £42.50 plus £5.31 booking fee for standard.
