A MAN who continued to visit a woman despite a restraining order banning him from doing so has been jailed.
Luke Smith breached the order imposed upon him when he “persistently” visited a woman’s address in Colchester between May 5 and 23.
The 29-year-old admitted harassment via breaching a restraining order when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
Smith, of Ratcliffe Court, Colchester, was jailed for one year and must pay a £156 victim surcharge.
