A SHED became engulfed in flames after a nearby bonfire proved too hot to handle.
Colchester firefighters attended an address in Maldon Road, Stanway, where they found the shed was fully alight shortly before 10pm on Monday.
The fire was fully extinguished by 10.47pm, Essex Fire Service stated.
A fire spokesman said: “On arrival, crews reported that a shed was 100 per cent alight after a bonfire set too close to the shed had spread."
